Join us for 5 weeks of intense skills sessions. We will meet twice every week for two hours featuring one hour on skates and one hour of speed and agility training.
July 14 – August 13
10 sessions for $150.
Session Length: 2 hours (1 hour on-skates, 1 hour dryland)
Target Age Groups: Youth players divided by skill/age
Squirt
Peewee
Bantam and older
Focus Areas: Skating, puck handling, shooting, game sense, conditioning
Full equipment will be required for all on Skate activities, including helmets and mouthguards

Clinic Overview
Duration: 5 weeks (July 14 – August 13)
Frequency: 2 sessions per week - Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30 pm -7:30 pm

Parents with younger Athletes (Squirt,Peewee) are encouraged to stay and participate in Dryland with their athlete(S)

Weekly Focus Plan
Week 1 – Foundation & Assessment - July 14th, 16th
Goal: Establish a baseline and focus on fundamentals
On-skates Focus: Edge work & stride mechanics, Puck control basics, Station-based drills (small area)
Evaluation scrimmage (Day 2)
Goalies- Session 1: Intro to Goaltending Fundamentals Focus: Stance, Positioning, Movement
Goalies Session 2: Catching and Blocking Techniques

(Day 2 Dryland) Power / Strength Focused
Week 2 – Skating & Speed - July 21st, 23rd
Goal: Improve stride power, transitions, acceleration
On-skates Focus: Acceleration starts and crossovers, Forward-backward transitions, Small area speed drills, Skating with puck, Sprint technique & resistance drills
Goalies Session 3: Angles and Positioning, including simulated scenarios to practice angle play and anticipate shots.
Goalies Session 4: Save Techniques and Body Positioning Focus: Butterfly and standing saves

Focused Week 3 – Stick Skills & Situational Awareness - July 28th, 30th
Goal: Develop hands, heads-up play, and positioning
On-skates Focus: Stickhandling through cones, Passing accuracy drills (stationary & in motion), 1v1/2v1/3v2 game scenarios, Body positioning & angling
Goalies Session 5: Puck Play and Communication
Goalies Session 6: Situational Awareness and Decision Making - Anticipating plays and reading the game

Focused Week 4 – Shooting & Small Games - August 4th,6th
Goal: Focus on offensive skills and competition
On-skates Focus: Shooting mechanics (wrist, snap, backhand), Quick-release shooting, Scoring in tight (net-front battles), 3-on-3 cross-rink games
Goalies Session 7: Game-Like Scenarios and goalie involvement (Power plays, save selection)
Goalies Session 8: Recovery and Rebound Control

Week 5 – Battle Week & Wrap-Up - August 11th, 13th
Goal: Apply all skills under pressure; celebrate progress
On-skates Focus: Competitive battle drills (corner battles, puck protection), Full-ice scrimmages with coached pauses, Shootout challenge, Skills competition (relay races, hardest shot, accuracy), Competitive team circuits, Leadership & mental toughness training
Goalies Final Week: Review and Scrimmage Days, incorporating all skills in live scrimmaging with skaters
