JC BOOTH WARRIORS MIDDLE SCHOOL 2013 1A GEORGIA STATE CHAMPIONS

Mr. Reed Hamilton was kind enough to write about the JC Booth Warriors road to 1A State Champions:

"The 3rd seeded Booth Warriors faced an uphill climb in the 1A Middle School tournament on Saturday, March 2nd. The first game was against the #2 seeded McDonough Knights. Trailing 2-0 after 1 period they fought back for a 3-2 win and advanced. Next opponent was the #1 seeded Brookwood Broncos, losers of only 1 game during the regular season. Things weren't looking good for the Warriors as they 4-0 after 1 period but they found a way scoring 3 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd for an outstanding come from behind 5-4 win to advance to the championship game. Brookwood, winning the losers bracket, was to be their opponent once again. However this time the Warriors jumped out to a 4-0 lead eventually winning 5-2. BOOTH WARRIORS-1A MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONS. Congrats to team members Mitchell Ramsey, Maxwell Meyhoefer, Andrew Kulick, Spencer Matthews, Austin Turner, Allen Hamilton, Thomas Post, PJ Patri, Greyson Valenta and Tyler Biltmier. Max Meyhoefer took home MVP honors for the championship game while PJ Patri was selected as #1 goaltender for the tournament."
